The Problem
Frank and his three children, Benny, Tom and Anna come to a stream which they have to cross. As it is deep, Frank decides to carry the children over one at a time. The problem is that Anna argues when left alone with either Benny or Tom. How can Frank resolve this without an argument resulting amongst his children?

The solution:
First Frank carries Anna across and returns for Benny. He then takes Anna back with him and leaves her on the first bank while he carries Tom across. Finally Frank returns to fetch Anna.
The Moral
Often there are many conflicting elements with any project on the road to a successful e-business implementation. This may be a clash of technology, a difference of opinion with the various stakeholders involved, the need for change management or the need to reassess the company's role and target audience with its online presence.
